J. Strupat Technologies (JST) Ltd. was incorporated in 1999.

The President of JST is John P. Strupat. John is a graduate of Fanshawe College and the University of Western Ontario, in London ON Canada. His clinical and research background started as a Respiratory Therapist, then Research Associate at the Department of Anesthesia at UWO under Prof. W.F. Spoerel and Dr. R. Knill. This was followed by several years as electronic technologist in Cardiac Investigation and then Biomedical Engineering at the London Health Sciences Center.
John then left the clinical world to spend 12 years as Manager of Electronic Product Development at Trudell Medical International. Trudell was the ideal incubator for new product ideas and to gain expertise in all aspects of medical product development, manufacturing and field support. With John’s designs, Trudell became an OEM supplier of medical electronics to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers worldwide. At that time, Trudell was an exciting workplace with site inspections from the FDA and the Health Protection Branch plus the push to obtain ISO quality registration. The entire ventilator pressure monitor product line was then sold to Respironics Inc. and the electronics section at Trudell closed.

JST has provided consulting and contract development services to medical and industrial companies. Local customers include Trojan Technologies, O-TWO Medical Technologies and Car-San Manufacturing.
